Named a "Shooting Star" at the 2002 Berlin film festival, Maria Würgler Rich has become an internationally reputed actress following her part in Danish drama Små ulykker (2002). Following her theatric education finished in 1999, she has been in several Danish plays and played minor roles in the two Danish TV series _Rejseholdet_ and _Hotellet_.
