Birsen Bekgoz was born in Berlin. Birsen Bekgoz is a short distance runner. She won a gold medal in the 400m disabled Cezmi Or Cup held in 2004. She won a bronze medal in the 4x400 flag race at the 2005 Mediterranean Games. She won a gold medal in the 4x100 meter flag team at Islam Games. She won a silver medal in the 4x400 meter flag team.
